A Month in my Life (March 2022)

Hello and welcome to my monthly blog-entry!

My mom is still sick and was in hospital until recently, but the doctors couldn't find anything... We are getting desparate as we see her losing more and more weight and the will to live. It makes me feel angry and helpless.

In order to forget about these problems, I indulge myself in projects that are nearly too big for me and try my hardest to accomplish them.

Personal

This month we visited Augsburg and I went to Thalia, a big, beautiful bookstore there! I could spend hours in there and I totally did! X'D I enjoy buying Manga at a local store, but most of the time I pre-order them online, because my time is scarce.

I love this shop! Look at all those Manga makes me happy!
The anime got me really hooked, so I bought the first volume! It was a pleasure to read!

What a cool an unique idea!

Other than that, I try out new recipes all the time! I totally hate broccoli, but since it's full of nutrients, I wanted to change that! So I tried out a broccoli with tofu in peanut-sauce recipe and it was DELISH! (Link below, sorry it is German only!)

I also made some honey lemons and other things! Can't wait to finally harvest our own vegetables!

Making some pickled plums for our own Onigiri!

My better half and I celebrated our 1-year-anniversary of our engagement with some Japanese food! I am still in awe that we are marrying this year! //// Still so much to do but I am HYPER!

Sushi is simply delish!

Taking walks really calmed down my mind these days and I adore seeing trees in full bloom!

One day we'll have a cherry tree, too! Until then, I will adore the beauty of other people's trees!

Forsythia are so pretty, too!

Taking a walk in the half-frozen fields!

It was so pretty there! The photos don't do it justice.

The daughter of the sister of my better half had her christianizing feast, so I had the task to re-paint a 30+ year old rockinghorse as you can see below! This was much fun!

Already re-painted, finished version!

Nerd Life

I ordered a lot of manga last month in order to distract myself from the problems at hand. I also got to read a lot because I got sick for a couple of days! I used this time not only to read, but also to indulge myself in Doraemon: Story of Seasons. It is such a cute game and it was perfect to make me smile! Like any Harvest Moon/ Story of Seasons, you have always something to do~

Since I love Manga so much, I am thinking about making blog-posts of my monthly haul! What do you think?

Art

This month I finally drew again! I had lots of unfinished sketches and lines lying around and it felt refreshing to finish them! I still want to draw more these upcoming holidays, so stay tuned! So far, I am very satisfied that my markers didn't dry up, haha!

Lined these 5+ year old sketches, too!

Next month

In April, I challenge myself to add more than 20 new items to my Etsy store. I wish I could make so much money that we could afford our own house... Until this dream comes true, I will work even harder!!!

On April 10, there is an Easter Market in our town, so we have to prepare a lot of different things: honey, bee wax clothes, Easter decoration, notepads, greeting cards, dried apple chips and lots of bee wax candles! This is a lot to handle even for two full-time teachers, haha! XuX Fingers crossed that we'll get everything done in time!

MISC

Things that didn't fit into the other passages!

There are going to be lots of Japanese films and I can't wait to watch some of them with a good friend of mine!

This was sooooo big but so good?!

I love making onion pie!

The bee house is already in use!

We want to build this at the entry of the house! Isn't it PRETTY???

I love baking! So here have some lemon cake!
