Hey there!
Long time, no read! The June went by so fast that I didn't find the time to upload my Manga haul for May! Let's see if I can make some time today (or these days)!
So many things happened in June and I am hyped to write about them! This time, I try to write in a timely order because I am afraid to forget something otherwise! X'D
I haven't drawn this big in ages! |
AnnaBlume visited me at the beginning of June! We haven't seen each other for 6 years and it was amazing how good we got along after such a long long time! I even drew a conhon entry! (see above) We played Zelda: Breath of the Wild and had so much fun watching different attempts to beat the game in the shortest time possible! We also talked a lot about life, Manga and more! It was such a blessing to have her around! She was so cute while eating, because she complimented everything! X///D <3
Look at all my new cuties! ;u;) <3 Welcome to your new home! |
I don't know why, but simply looking at hydrangeas makes me happy and feeling at ease! |
My better half and I went to Pflanzen Kölle, because I got a gift card for my birthday! I bought so many beautiful plants and I was overjoyed to use the terrarium I got for free from school! They wanted to throw it away, but I had other plan(t)s...!
Step by step:
Still empty but ready for business! |
First put in some pebbles! |
Now comes the soil! |
Finding the perfect position for all my new cuties! |
Done! Sorry for the reflection! |
And from above! |
One day, I will buy a big and beautiful Wisteria tree for our garden! This one costs 600€ (cries):
I love the shape of the tree! |
We also went to the city and bought a suit and a matching necktie for our wedding! During our shopping tour, I found so many cool things! Look at this packaging! Isn't it adorable?!
I played Doraemon Story of Seasons a couple of weeks ago and was thrilled to see this! |
Moon and stars are always getting me, haha! |
This is so funny to me! X'D |
Isn't this mug adorable?! |
Good friends of ours got married and we were so happy to be able to attend and be close to them! It was lots of fun and during the afternoon, we even got to see a Festumzug (festival procession) which we haven't seen since the start of the pandemic! I loved seeing all those cheerful, happy people!
Traditional clothing as far as you can see! And of course traditional Bavarian music, too! |
Playing games was a huge fun! (You can also see my better half here! *v*) |
The food was *chefs kiss* <3 |
The location was so festive and everyone was happy! I hugely enjoyed this day, even if we left early (22 o'clock) because we were so exhausted! X'D |
I can't believe it myself, but I was finally able to draw again! Taking part in a swap really helped getting my spirits up! It wasn't easy to get back into drawing and these ACEOs are by no means perfect, but I loved the ideas and I am glad that I finished them!
The current ACEO I am working on! It should be lots of pink and green! |
I can't handle pastels, but I tried my very best! :D |
I loved the idea of Pokemon donuts and I am happy that the others liked it as well. <3 |
Three blue copics died on this card! X'D One day I want to draw a similar one again! |
Drawing plants and happy Pokemon makes me feel all fuzzy inside. <3 |
On the other hand... Have you heard of the Passionsspiele Oberammergau (Oberammergau Passion Play)? They are taking the Passion of Jesus to the stage every 10 years and 2000 of 5000 citizens of Oberammergau are partizipating in it. It's a huge spectacle and I was impressed by the beauty of the city, by the costumes, by the stage equipment and the atmosphere in general! Since all actors are amateurs, it isn't a professional stage play, but I was entertained (and moved) nonetheless!
Seeing so many actors on the stage was awesome and incredible! |
I squeaked when I saw all these historic, beautiful houses! What a beauty! What craftmansship! AAAAaaa! <3 <3 <3 |
Seeing all those handcarved figures (this one is 1,20 meters tall) was inspiring! |
Look at another beautiful house! Isn't every corner of it just pretty?! |
The Yakitori was splendid! The Japan Fernweh really hit me hard these days! |
I can't knit, but I bought a ball of wool in order to knit some socks for my better half... /// please don't laugh at me when I show you the first results, haha! The wool is selfmade and dyed by a small group of local merchants! That really impressed me.
So much hand-dyed wool! *O* |
In order to prepare for the two trips to the zoo with my 5th graders, I visited it beforehand! The overall theme was livestock and farm animals, so we had the focus on cows, pigs, geese, chickens and more! Especially the Kunekune were so cute... The students loved them to death and couldn't get enough of these New Zealand pigs!
Snuggling into the corner! |
Getting fed! They look so happy splashing into the tiny pool! |
Wedding
Since it's only one more month (SCREAMING) we did a lot back in June!
Our wedding cake is going to look similar to this one - just in a round shape with a starry sky! |
We ordered the cake in the form of a moon with a sky, we made a homepage (thanks for a good friend who helped me here! X'D I nearly got a mental breakdown implementing the forum!), we searched for songs for the organ and the church as well as the party. We even decided on a wedding dance song and found a perfect choreography! Since I am SUCH A BAD DANCER, I am quite nervous to perform in front of this many people, but I will give it my all! >0<)9
We also ordered a photo booth, made some props for it and I made a matching template for the overall theme of the wedding: stars!
Random photos but I love the template I made! <3 |
I printed the menu and challenge cards, made a seating chart and finished all Who is Who pages. The Who is Who pages are going to be printed next Monday, so I have to cut a lot the next week(s)! (Over 300 pages, AHAHAHAHA)
The title page! I have to cut over 300 pages like this! |
Since we are marrying in August, it is supposed to be quite hot. Since we want to cool down our guests, we bought some fans and want to engrave them with the laser engraver of a friend (again the one who helped me with the homepage/ forum! I'D)! Keep your fingers crossed that it works out, because otherwise I have to do it by hand with a soldering iron (Lötkolben)!
Unpacking the fans! |
The flowers are ordered and in two weeks we are going to see a sample table! Our flowers are blue hydrangeas since I love them from the bottom of my heart!
Our centerpieces are going to be blue hydrangeas in round glasses! |
I also made our own name tags! They match the invitation I sent to all of our guests at the very beginning!
Crafting in the evening after work. <3 |
We still have problems with our organist. The one who should play the organ is on holiday and the substitude couldn't be contacted over the course of two months... :') Now I finally reached her (sorry for calling you on every channel I could find! OTL) and she wants to look at the song I DESPERATELY want to be played this sunday! Pray with me that she will be able to do it! It would mean the world to me! T___T
Thinking long and hard were all our guests are going to sit! Can you find your name? ;D |
Searching for matching farbric for our ring cushion! A friend of ours is so kind and is going to sew a star-shaped one! |
Etsy
I made 27 sales in one month and I was so overjoyed by this! TvT Every cent we make over the Etsy shop is for our Dreamhouse! Even if we purchase material, we don't take it from the money of our Dreamhouse, but from our own money! I try my hardest to satisfy all the costumers we have! I love making stickers with all my heart!
Cutting some Xenoblade Chronicles 3 stickers! I am so hyped for the game myself! |
Speaking of Etsy, I just ordered some brandnew products which I haven't done ever before! I am quite nervous I have to be honest, but if it turns out how I imagine, it will be brilliant! Hopefully you will like it, too! It's connected to the poll about your favourite Japanese manhole cover I made these past weeks! Watch out for what is coming soon! *v*
Another product we are working on: Lunchbags for our local buyers! Inside is bee wax cloth. A friend of mine is a great sewer and I want to learn how to make them! (I have to left hands when it comes to sewing...!) |
I instantly fell in love with Smoliv! It is SO CUTE! |
Animal Crossing summer ice cream, anyone? |
Based on the joke of a friend! |
Nerd
I ordered 4 nendoroids this month and I couldn't be happier with these small cuties!
The last Nintendo Direct blew me away! So many games I want to have, I thought I was dreaming! Keep your fingers crossed that I will find time to write about this!
Until then... Let's see each other either with the next Manga haul or the next A Month in My Life! Stay safe and happy!
