A Month in my Life (April 2022)

Image
Hello again! Nice to read you! Hopefully, I will bring you lots of you with this blog post! Personal My mother is still sick, but we may finally have a lead! I will keep you updated in this blog. We went to the cinema to watch "Fantastic Beasts" and we really enjoyed it! In school, we made some "fossils" and the students had tons of fun doing these! April went by by the blink of an eye, because we had lots to do for our easter market! Our market stall with our handmade products and yellow shelf!  Filling up the honey glasses is meditative and boring at the same time! XD Our handmade machine to close the lids of the honey glasses efficiently! Handmade bee wax clothes! We bought the cloth in February during the Creativa! Handmade bee wax candles! We want to buy some new molds, soon~ We also sold some gift baskets at the market with our own jam, honey and sirup! (And soaps, too!) The market was a huge success and it felt so good to finally see people roaming around ag...

Mangahaul April 2022

Image
Welcome to my monthly Mangahaul!  Since I love to talk about Manga, here we go! Everything I got for April 2022: Manga, games and artbooks! " After the Rain " is a beautiful and artsy story! I loved the German release since it comes with a beautiful box and artprints as well! I was stingy so I waited to find a good price on ebay Kleinanzeigen! Berserk Hardcover Edition : Since the sudden death of Miura-sensei, I wanted to at least own one of the many beautiful editions out there. In Germany we have at least 3 editions and the first one has moon prices (more than 100€/ volume), so I settled for this hardcover leather edition in English! They are quite pricey (45€/ volume), so I only order one volume per month! Inu Yasha New Edition : Inu Yasha was one of my very first Manga and I totally missed the new and shiny edition a couple of years ago. Now there'll be a reprint and to be "prepared" (XD) I ordered all volumes that you can get for the normal price! Radiant...

A Month in my Life (March 2022)

Hello and welcome to my monthly blog-entry! My mom is still sick and was in hospital until recently, but the doctors couldn't find anything... We are getting desparate as we see her losing more and more weight and the will to live. It makes me feel angry and helpless. In order to forget about these problems, I indulge myself in projects that are nearly too big for me and try my hardest to accomplish them. Personal This month we visited Augsburg and I went to Thalia, a big, beautiful bookstore there! I could spend hours in there and I totally did! X'D I enjoy buying Manga at a local store, but most of the time I pre-order them online, because my time is scarce.  I love this shop! Look at all those Manga makes me happy! The anime got me really hooked, so I bought the first volume! It was a pleasure to read! What a cool an unique idea! Other than that, I try out new recipes all the time! I totally hate broccoli, but since it's full of nutrients, I wanted to change that! So I ...

A month of My Life (February 2022)

Image
Hello there! I hope this blog entry finds you well wherever you are. This February was turbulent and horrifying - personally and on a global scale.  Personal/ Private I love being a teacher, but the past weeks were especially hard. So many things had a deadline, the students were getting on each other's nerves and tests wanted to be revised on top of creating good lessons. I am glad that we are on holiday right now and I wish I had yet another week, because I have so many projects I want to finish without rush! Packing microscale-experiment-cases for the student's laboratory! Finally our boxes are in order! I still want to add some, though!  Pretty, isn't it? It's a red cabbage indicator from pH 1 to pH 12! Displaying my student's models and posters! These DNA-models turned out pretty well! I love how creative everyone got. On the other hand: My mother fell terribly ill and she can't either breathe or swallow. She already lost 10 kilograms (20 pounds) in one mo...
